Like a lot of people, I like to read Dan Savage every week. His column this week really nails it, as far as the whole "jesus cures the gay" debate. I've mentioned before that I have a lot of nterest in religion and spirituality. I've found this to be true of many of the men I've met and spent time with over the years. It's hard to be given such harsh evidence that you're a second class citizen, expected to live in fear, and denied the right to love and stand by a partner in the extreme moments of life, in the courtroom, in the hospital, at the deathbed.
